FuJi Sushi & Steak House

I absolutely loved my experience here. We are visiting NY from OBX VA/NC, so I didn’t expect to be able to find a good sushi place up here but this one is better than our FAVORITE sushi place back home!! The food is perfect, the sushi chef is a really cool guy. We even tried new sushi, which is something that I’m usually scared to do. The chef made something just for us and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had! We didn’t sit at the hibachi but we got to see another family get the hibachi experience and it looked so fun! Very cool people and the food couldn’t be any better. I saw someone mention the food not being the best here and I’d have to say they’re wrong! This place IS the best! Maybe sushi/hibachi just wasn’t for them if they didn’t like this place. I look forward to coming back here every year!!

Portions are moderate to small - staff is very pleasant - prices are not grossly expensive, but this is more of a special occasion place, so expect to pay a bit more (Hibachi). Mood was a bit rushed, but it was a busy place. Would return.

The crunchy tiger roll was AMAZING!!! Salad was great, miso soup was not my cup of tea though.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Fuji. Traveling on business, I ate here 3 days in a row. The sushi quality is excellent! I was also extremely impressed with how attentive and kind all of the staff were during my visit.

Our first time and it will not be our last we love the food the service !! Atmosphere is great just a little to loud but that's is just my preference. Everything meet my expectations

The yummy roll was OFF THE CHARTS! Staff was friendly and environment was clean. Would recommend this restaurant! Hibachi experience was unforgettable and the chef was entertaining. Would come again.
